On Saturday, June 15, Custom BioGenic Systems participated in the annual Families Against Narcotics Run Drugs out of Town 5K. Our employees, friends, and family members gathered together at Fraser High School to help fight addiction (and honor those lost to it) by raising money for F.A.N.
The Run Drugs Out of Town Run/Walk is the largest fundraiser for F.A.N. and helps sustain their efforts every year. The money raised goes back to educating people about the dangers of drug use and helping those who are struggling with addiction.
The event started at 9 a.m. and a couple thousand people took off running or walking. Prior to that, hundreds of balloons were released. Orange balloons were released in support of those fighting their battle, green to honor those who lost their battle, and blue to represent Hope Not Handcuffs.
We are proud to be a Main Even Sponsor of such a wonderful cause! Custom BioGenic Systems has been a sponsor of Families Against Narcotics for the past ten years and is glad to help educate people about the seriousness of the drug/opiate epidemic.
